Chris, my husband, decided that he ight with it. So Bogey pulled his bark, lurch and growl mode today, until, drum roll please! Chris had a bag of dog treats and just hung out with him in a little corner and made him comfortable (and full!).
Needless to say, Bogey was a little isolated today, but it was a great first experience for him. He slept for 3 hours this afternoon from all the excitement.
Our oldest daughter, weighing in at 60 lbs, took Bogey for a 1 block stroll today with me lagging behind just in case. She said it was "easy peazy".
Right now, Bogey has his chin in my lap and is begging for me to keep petting him. Oh no... he's growing on me!
